The American Wildlife Conservation Partners (AWCP) work together on issues affecting the conservation of wildlife and their habitats as well as the preservation of hunting and trapping traditions.

Photo: Fish & Wildlife ServiceThe AWCP does not speak on behalf of partners - it is a loose affiliation of organizations with partners retaining their autonomy and respecting each other's differences. Partners can opt in on policy initiatives where they have a common interest, however they may also choose not to participate on a particular issue.

The five core areas that the AWCP focuses on are: habitat conservation, sustaining wildlife populations, perpetuating hunting and trapping, the scientific management of wildlife and habitat, and strengthening the North American Model of wildlife conservation.
