Issue: Habitat
Conserving Habitat
Without
places to live and food to eat, fish and wildlife species can not exist.
Hunters and anglers have long recognized that protecting habitat is fundamental
to conserving wildlife and have steadfastly worked for habitat conservation.
From duck stamps that conserve valuable wetland habitats to Farm Bill conservation
programs to conservation tax incentives, sportsmen have led the charge
on common sense habitat protection efforts. Members of the American Wildlife
Conservation Partners work on a variety of policy decisions that impact
fish and wildlife habitat.
